POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the food and beverage team at Rosedale Golf Club, you are a positive, enthusiastic, team oriented individual who is passionate about hospitality, has a keen eye for detail and strives to surpass member expectations.
Our servers and bartenders are responsible for consistently providing top notch service to members in all dining areas by providing prompt service, maintaining strong working knowledge of; all menu items, wine, beer, beverages, and daily features as well as Club events. In keeping with Rosedale standards, our servers and bartenders are expected to become familiar with member preferences thus offering personalized service.
Our servers and bartenders shall perform these duties in a professional, friendly manner and ensure the member has an extraordinary dining experience by delivering inspired service.

JOB DUTIES
· Greets members with a smile, making eye contact and addressing them by their surname name
· Informs members of the daily features, including wines, beers, and cocktails.
· Offers guidance and makes recommendations of menu items
· Takes food and beverage orders from members, listens and confirms understanding, and maintains positive body language
· Ensures timely delivery of beverage and menu items by being aware of surroundings
· Offers solutions to member’s needs and shows the added value of upselling and cross selling
· Accurate and efficient use of the POS system, from inputting the order to presentation of the chit
· Maintain service levels for each table in assigned section from the moment the member arrives to when the member departs
· Support and assists teammates as needed and demonstrates team mentality through sharing of information and expertise and putting team success first
· Set tables to laid out standards, ensuring all items used are clean, full and undamaged
· Complete pre-shift duties ensuring adequate levels of stock and mise en place items
· Attend and participate in daily briefings, training sessions and staff meetings
· Be continually aware of and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress, and conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times in all areas of the Club House
· Treat fellow staff members with respect and courtesy maintaining a positive environment
