Connected Solutions, a local SecurTek Home Security dealer, is a leading provider of smart security solutions for homes and businesses across Southern Ontario. Currently we are looking to add to our installation department.
We're looking for individuals, subcontractors, technicians either with or without experience in the field of alarm installation. Candidates must have a vehicle and be able to confidently deliver customer service while performing installations in customers homes.
Experience is an asset but we are willing to train someone if we feel they are a good fit.
The successful candidate will be well versed in how to run wires through existing homes and businesses and should be able to do so in a neat, cosmetically pleasing manner. Experience installing alarm panels, surveillance cameras and access control systems is an asset but not required. We can provide training for the right person. Alarm.com Technician Certification will be required and can be arranged after an interview. All technicians are responsible for having a reliable vehicle, insurance and the tools required to complete the installation. Specialty tools may be provided. Technicians are paid based on their hourly rate and mileage will be paid for all km travelled during work time. All work is completed in southern Ontario, usually within 1 hour of the technicians location.
Average earnings for entry-level alarm installers should start between $800-$1,000 per week. Experienced installers can earn higher rates.
We are accepting subcontractors for part time as well as full time depending on the area you live and the volume of work we perform in your area.

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Security System Installation: 2 years (preferred)
- Fishing wire & cable through existing buildings: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- driver's license and a reliable vehicle (required)
Work Location: In person
