Brewster’s Golf, Kananaskis Ranch, is the realization of a dream held by 4th generation cowboy and entrepreneur Bud Brewster. This unique 18-hole golf course lies at the base of Yamnuska Mountain and follows the moraines of the north bank of the Bow River. The Par 72 layout extends to an unassuming 5,606 yards of play that winds its way through the rugged, tree-lined terrain of the mountain ranch that Bud grew up on. The design puts accuracy off the tee at a premium, but also provides players with several risk reward opportunities. Several water hazards and bunkers further add to the challenge, and protect the well conditioned greens. The course provides visitors with exceptional mountain vistas and an abundance of wildflowers throughout the season.

Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent, Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance, will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the golf course. We are a small tight-knit team who start early, finish early, take a lot of pride in our work, and love what we do! Our goal is to exceed customers expectations and deliver an exceptional golf course on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
· Operation of various pedestrian mowers
· Operation of various ride-on type mowers
· Detailed tasks such as sodding, raking, shoveling, weeding, fertilizing, line trimming, and certain landscaping tasks
· Assist with irrigation maintenance and repair
· Assistance with daily course set up & performing daily chores
· Special projects
· Course clean-up and other detail work
· Bunker preparation and maintenance
· Potential for sometimes helping out the back shop with golf cart turnover
· Daily tasks may change multiple times through the day and are dependent on weather and the needs of the course for daily play.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
Requirements
· Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team
· Have a willingness to learn new tasks
· Be able to handle a dynamic work environment
· Willingness to work outdoors even in inclement weather
· Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
· Ability to work early mornings
· Access to reliable transportation as there are no public transportation options available to our location
· Basic golf knowledge
Qualifications:
· 16+ years of age
· Must be a committed, detail orientated team player
· Physical Strength – ability to stand/walk/bend/push/pull for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation: · Hourly Wage: $19.00-$21.00
