Job description
Party City is currently hiring for Temporary Seasonal positions.
We have 4 Temporary Cashier/Customer Service positions available for the Halloween season.
This duties of this position include, but is not limited to:
- Handling cash and credit machines
- Checking out guests purchases
- Maintaining the front counter area
- Putting out freight on shelves
- Organizing shelves and fixtures
- Fulfilling balloon orders for guests
- Making balloon bouquets
- General cleaning and organization of the store
- Helping customers find products in the store
- Putting out freight on shelves
- Merchandising
- Taking out trash
- Helping customers with all of their Halloween needs including costumes and accessories.
- Maintaining the floor and putting items back where they belong
- Organizing shelves and fixtures.
- Greeting customers
- Checking bags and receipts
- Warehouse stocking
Requirements for all Positions:
- Basic math and typing skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision with computerized systems
- Experience in a customer service role
- Ability to operate a cash register is an asset but not a necessity
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders
- must be able to life at least 40lbs
- Must be able to handle latex balloons
- Must have own transportation - some shifts begin before, or end after public transit finishes operating for the day.
Based on performance some temporary employees could be asked to stay on after the season on a more permanent contract.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $17.60 per hour
