Your role:
- You are responsible for safely transporting what we call “the most precious cargo” to and from school
- Ensure students’ safety while boarding and exiting buses.
- Be responsible for performing pre/post- trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.
- Help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the bus.
Requirements
Your profile
- You are safety focused
- You hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license, Preference will be given to B class drivers.
- You are 21 years of age or over
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search
- You have a sound knowledge of the Nipissing District and surrounding areas
- You have the ability to work independently
- You have the ability to work split shifts that reflect transportation requirements for school age children
- You possess solid communication skills
- Great customer service and communication skills in order to interact with passengers, parents, school employees, co-workers and the general public in a courteous and professional manner. You meet the required MTO medical standards required to obtain or maintainer a B licence.

By joining the East Ferris Bus Lines team you will find:
- We offer a competitive wage of $19.05 to $20.30/hour with minimum 4 hours per day guarantee
- We offer all in-class and on road training required in order to Pass a Ministry of Transportation Driver Examination or obtain a certificate of competence from a recognized authority by passing a vision screening, knowledge test and a driving test in a bus of appropriate size is provided.
- We offer a Professional Driver Improvement Course approved by the Ministry of Transportation.
- We provide First Aid, CPR & Epipen training
