Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our scheduling processes and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have experience in a fast-paced office environment, preferably within a medical or dental setting.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate appointment schedules for clients, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
- Utilize Dentrix to maintain accurate records and handle billing inquiries.
- Provide outstanding customer support through effective communication, both in-person and over the phone.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks with precision, including updating client information and managing filing systems.
- Assist with clerical duties such as typing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and support front desk activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Support bookkeeping tasks as needed, contributing to the financial accuracy of the office.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably as a scheduling coordinator or similar position.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office is highly desirable, including knowledge of dental receptionist duties.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient typing skills and experience with data entry tasks are essential.
