Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and customer service. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance food preparation skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in roles involving food handling and preparation.
- Strong cashiering skills with an emphasis on accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to ensure the highest quality of food is served.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
