Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy are necessary.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
