We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Operations Manager to lead our team, drive business growth, and ensure operational excellence.
Position Overview:
The Sales & Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of sales, customer service, and day-to-day branch operations. This role combines leadership, strategic business development, and operational management to ensure seamless processes and strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Drive sales growth through proactive customer engagement and business development initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and suppliers.
- Oversee pricing strategies, quoting, and negotiation to achieve profitability goals.
- Operations Management:
- Manage branch operations, including order fulfillment, logistics, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely product ordering and stock management.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and mentor staff to achieve operational and sales targets.
- Foster a positive, safety-focused work environment that promotes teamwork.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand market share and enhance service offerings.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports on sales and operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and/or operations within building materials, construction, or related industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of interior building products, including acoustical ceilings, drywall, framing, Insulation, and other related products & solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel locally as required.
