Position
The SDR role holds an important position at the top of the sales funnel for the entire company. The SDR is often our customer’s first experience with Rapid Novor so you need to be able to make a great first impression to earn the right to qualify our leads and identify what the appropriate next steps should be. The ideal candidate will have a hunter-mentality and will be actively reaching out through email, LinkedIn and phone to generate qualified leads. The SDR will also act as junior sales for selected services and/or territoriesWe expect team members to explore and integrate data-driven and emerging digital tools, including AI-powered technologies.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct independent market research to identify new leads/prospects
- Reach out to contacts and initiate sales conversations by email, LinkedIn, phone and/or in person
- Articulate the business value proposition to decision-makers to assess buying interest
- Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments to new prospects
- Develop periodic outbound email-marketing campaigns
- Continuously innovate outreach strategies by incorporating data-driven insights, optimizing messaging, utilizing social media platforms, and aligning with broader digital marketing initiatives
- Represent the company at conferences and tradeshows
- Act as junior sales for selected services and/or territories
Required Skills
- A University degree in Science, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.
- Self-starter, results oriented, extremely tenacious, well organized.
- Positive attitude with a desire to succeed / Willing to learn and be coached.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Excited about an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment.
- Previous B2B sales experience is preferred
- Sales involving scientific software or services is a plus.
