We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Safety, Environment, Quality and Training Manager to join our Red Lake Canada Operations.
Reporting to the Site Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Liaising with our client's on health, safety, environmental, quality and training matters;
- Ensuring SEQT management systems are monitored and maintained in accordance with Corporate and project specific Safety Management Plans;
- Ensuring employee training and assessment requirements are monitored and maintained;
- Conducting and coordinating incident investigations.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 5 years mining industry experience in an underground mining environment;
- At least 3 years’ experience in Occupational, Health, Safety, & Training management;
- Underground Mine Supervisor Common Core Certification will be highly regarded;
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Workplace Health & Safety (or equivalent)
- Sound understanding of Ontario underground mining regulations and statutory responsibilities;
- Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate;
- Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word; PowerPoint, etc;
- Demonstrated use in INX InControl and InTuition data base systems;
- Be self-motivating and willing to liaise and interact with local cultures;
- A National Police Clearance;
- A good understanding of Injury Management processes, particularly in an international environment will be highly regarded;
- Current operators tickets would be advantageous;
- Current Drivers Licence.

Please note this position requires the ability to work locally on a 5/2 – 4/3 roster – FIFO in not available for this position.
