With plenty of opportunity to grow and expand your career, Aqua-Coast Engineering is looking for a Roofing/Re-Roofing Project Manager to join our growing team to assist in projects.
Position Overview
The Roofing/Re-Roofing Project Manager position is designed to work directly with our Principal for New Construction. You will be working exclusively with new construction projects around the Greater Metro Vancouver area. It is expected you will be responding to client queries, manage several ongoing projects, and visit sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
· Business development for re-roofing projects including developing clients and liaising with Property Managers and Strata’s
· Organizing and developing a re-roofing team
· Administering re-roofing projects from inception to completion including but not limited to the following;
o Roof reviews and report writing
o Meetings with Strata
o Proposals for re-roofing
o Putting together re-roofing packages
o Tendering
o Tender analysis
o Contract administration
o Construction support, RFI’s SI’s, etc
o Reviewing progress draws
o Attending meetings
o Completing progress reviews
o Compiling deficiency reviews
Secondary Responsibilities
· Review of architectural drawings and specifications when required for new construction activities
· Review of applicable shop drawings & RFI’s when required for new construction activities
· Attend site meetings and design coordination meetings when required for new construction activities
· Detail development where and when required
· Conducting field reviews and issuing field review reports for new construction when extra coverage is required
Qualifications:
· Ability to work independently, diligently and efficiently
· Experience with Microsoft Office is an Asset (Word, Excel, PPT)
· Drivers License & own vehicle is a necessity
· Registered Roof Observer (RCABC, IIBEC)
