Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing installation and repair, demonstrating proficiency with various roofing materials and techniques. This role involves working on residential and commercial properties, ensuring roofs are installed correctly and maintained to the highest standards. The Roofer will be responsible for executing projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Although experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right individuals.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and tiles.
- Perform caulking and sealing to ensure roofs are watertight.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for roofing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed during roofing projects.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications Preferred, but not required:
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a related maintenance person role with a strong understanding of roofing systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions accurately.
- A background in carpentry is a plus but not mandatory.
