Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks
- Assist in carpentry projects, including framing, installation, and finishing work
- Perform caulking duties to seal gaps and joints in structures
- Engage in heavy lifting and moving materials as required
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing job sites and providing necessary materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or maintenance person roles is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday
- Experience with blueprint reading will be considered a plus
