Qualifications:
Estimator - roofing estimation experience at a reputable company.
- Knowledge and understanding of roof systems, low-slope (flat) and slope roofing.
- Knowledge of roofing materials.
- Ability to use Takeoff Software is an asset.
- Ability to use computer and mobile device programs, apps and software.
Essential Skills:
- Organized and efficient.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Perform measurement, costing and budgeting calculations.
- Punctual and reliable.
Duties:
- Receive leads and arrange inspection site visits with clients.
- Set-up ladder and access roof for inspection and measurement.
- Conduct on site measurements, drawings and photographs for inspection report.
- Prepare roof take off using software.
- Prepare roofing work estimate for client.
- Consult with client, discuss estimate details.
- Negotiate contract with client.
- Prepare project work and material orders.
- Consult with client throughout project if necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
Experience:
- construction estimating: 2 years (preferred)
