Position Title: Revenue and Reservations Supervisor

Position Overview:
The Revenue & Reservations Supervisor is responsible for maximizing resort revenue through effective management of reservations, inventory control, and pricing strategies. This role oversees the reservations team, ensures exceptional guest service during the booking process, and supports the implementation of revenue management initiatives to drive occupancy and profitability. As a key member of the guest services team part of our Rooms Division, you’ll lead the reservations team while working closely with leadership to maximize occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction
Accountable for pricing, positioning and inventory, identifies new revenue opportunities and effectively communicates sales strategy and pricing to all key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyzing and Reporting Revenue Management Data
- AirBnB Management maximize occupancy, make recommendations for packages.
- Competitive Analysis period end and identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals.
- Review and make recommendations to generate sales on transient segment each period and continually analyzes transient booking patterns.
- Maintains accurate reservation system information.
- Checks distribution channels regularly for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning.
- Identifies the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
- Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
- Assists in generating yearly room revenue budget.
- Create targets for the reservations team, that reward and recognize goal achievement
Managing Revenue Management Strategy
- Assist in promo flash sale to generate incremental rooms revenue.
- Daily rate adjustments OTA`s, dynamic pricing using Maestro
- Provides critical input to property leaders for development of market sales strategy.
- Ensures that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
- Managing and maintaining all OTAs and FIT partners to maintain optimal business mix
- Wholesale rate assignment management working with sales to maintain competitive rates, drive shoulder and off-season revenue.
- Assists resort with pricing and provides input on business evaluation recommendations.
- Assists in creating and verbalizing positioning and long-term strategies for all segments (group, transient, catering) that are in alignment with brand standards and property objectives.
- Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue management processes.
- Ensures Operation Teams are aware of current strategies and have the information needed to execute them (daily strategies, current day inventory management, and package inclusions).
Other Duties:
· Responsible for training and supervising all reservations agents.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy of all room reservations and guest information across all systems
- Promoting teamwork of staff members by setting good work examples, encouraging good work habits, being positive in all situations, and acknowledging good work.
- Collaborating with all resort to ensure resort goals for guest service and revenue generation are achieved
- Strategic staff scheduling that aligns with business needs.
- Creating and executing training plans based on department goals
- Preparing and leading monthly staff meetings to address departmental issues, celebrate wins and keep team apprised of department and hotel goals
- Work closely with Front Office, Sales, and Marketing to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate occupancy, revenue, and forecasting data.
· Ensure compliance with resort standards and policies
· Occasional Manager on Duty Shift
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 (two) to 5 (five) years in a Hotel Reservations or a related field as an assistant manager or supervisor, with extensive experience in coaching and training staff
- Must have 2- 4 years of recent experience in a hotel revenue management position.
- Experience leading a team of hotel reservation associates.
- Experience with hotel reservation systems, including I-Hotelier, Delphi cloud based, HMS, Intranet, Travel Ads. Experience with hotel opening & transition an asset.
- Strong sense of need for achievement of goals and success.
- Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs.
- Capable of prioritizing between revenue generating actions and time-consuming tasks with low yield impact.
- High level of motivation, determination and commitment.
- Solid understanding of revenue management principles and how to effectively utilize strategies to increase RevPAR
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, problem solving, and customer service skills.
- Possess the ability to work well under pressure and with difficult customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook.

- Based on-site at the resort.
