THE OPPORTUNITY
Established in 2011, Vitaly produces experimental, genderless accessories, taking inspiration from robotics and industrial manufacturing processes. Vitaly pieces are produced using 100% recycled, stainless steel — a metal that does not rust, tarnish or turn your skin green. Due to its incredible durability, steel is also the most recycled material on the planet.
As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales associates, maintaining inventory accuracy, scheduling, and overseeing the general operations of the Vitaly flagship store. You are a motivating leader and drive the business by challenging and supporting your team to provide exceptional service and creating lasting relationships with each of our customers. As a member of the Vitaly retail team, you are a core ambassador for the brand, supporting and promoting our customer engagement, loyalty, and marketing programs.
Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Service
- Assess sales performance and work with senior management to set targets
- Maintain store image by helping to set and follow merchandising standards
- Contribute to merchandising improvement via identifying opportunities to help drive sales and keep the store looking and feeling fresh
- Act as an ambassador for the brand, our loyalty program, and our customer engagement strategies (email, SMS, social, forums, giveaways)
- Ensure high-quality customer service from the entire team
- Resolve customer conflicts
- Demonstrate sales leadership by maintaining an active role on the sales floor
- Demonstrate exceptional product and brand knowledge
- Act as a partner between customers, sales associates, company leadership, and brand representatives
Inventory Management
- Ensure accurate inventory with daily spot counts, weekly audits and monthly inventory counts
- Maintain inventory and place re-stock orders for any third-party brands that may be carried
Operations Management
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve all operational activities to ensure the store exceeds performance targets.
- Ensure all operations and financial procedures are followed properly
- Hire, train, and manage sales staff.
- Manage schedule to adjust hours based on sales and fluctuating projections
- Ensure the store and stock room are thoroughly cleaned
- Manage warranty and exchange program
- Maintain all retail procedures and documentation
- Complete all necessary reports (EOD/EOM/WINS&LOSSES/INVENTORY)
Target KPIs:
Store Conversion: 30%
AOV: $125
UPT: 1.75
Inventory Discrepancy of 1% or less

- 3-5 years of experience
- Experience with shopify
- Experience with google suite
