We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Retail Sales Specialist to join our Vancouver team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping clients find the right solutions, and values teamwork and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the first point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries, providing expert guidance on our products and services
- Process “cash & carry” transactions by preparing and submitting Cash Sale forms
- Assist with inventory management for both new and used furnishings
- Help clients navigate the Steelcase online store and provide support throughout their shopping experience
- Support pre-sold product orders by:
- Creating and submitting quotations using internal ERP system for customer approval
- Ensuring all order details are accurate, including site information, payment methods, and applicable charges
- Submitting approved quotes for order conversion
- Conducting follow-up calls after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in customer service, sales support, or a related administrative role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with office furniture or interior design industries is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 37.5 per week
