About the Job
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager – National Accounts, the Retail Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting national retail relationships for our bagged Soil and Mulch product lines. From analyzing pricing and preparing sales reports to working with buyers and attending trade shows, you’ll be the go-to support for a dynamic and growing sales team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in preparing and analyzing pricing, forecasts, POP replenishment, and monthly sales reports.
- Assist in the preparation of customer presentations.
- Maintain contact with representatives at the retail accounts National Account Buyers, their assistants and Replenishment Buyers.
- Collaborate with marketing on packaging artwork and new product lines
- Attend trade shows and support merchandising/store visits
- Maintain internal reports, assist with logistics and customer service coordination
- Responsible for managing the Company’s role in the Stewardship Ontario Program, as well as other roles in the other Stewardship Programs (i.e. MMBC, MMSW & MMSM).
Here’s What You Need
5+ years of experience or a post-secondary education in business, with deep knowledge of soil and mulch product lines .
- 3+ years in a sales support or sales coordinator role. Experience with large format national retailers and retail enterprise systems.
- Strong computer software skills (i.e. MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A valid Ontario G-class Driver’s Licence
Demonstrated levels of customer service, interpersonal and communication skills to promote and foster relationships with existing and potential customers, colleagues and industry associates.
