Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in delivering quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, along with a commitment to providing excellent service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking medications and supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice.
- Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and medication profiles.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
- Preparing compliance packaging
- Light cleaning duties
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.

Pay: $18.00-$20.37 per hour
