Job Summary
As a member of our Guest Experience team, you will be responsible for operating our on-mountain retail space. Your role includes assisting guests with purchases, restocking merchandise, and keeping the shop clean, organized, and inviting. In this guest-facing position, you’ll provide friendly, helpful service and support the overall mountain experience. Cross-training and working within other departments is required to support business needs. You are a front-line staff member, problem solving and providing excellent customer service to create an inclusive experience, united by adventure and empowered by community.
Job Specifications
Wage: Based on experience- Schedule: Full-time, including weekends and holidays

- Reports To: Inside Operations Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
- Assist guests with ticketing, season pass sales, lesson bookings, and general resort inquiries
- Operate POS systems for both ticketing and retail transactions
- Maintain a welcoming and organized retail space, including restocking shelves and merchandising displays
- Provide product knowledge and sizing assistance for Sasquatch-branded apparel and accessories
- Receive and inventory retail shipments, ensuring accuracy and presentation
- Support guest communication by responding to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
- Stay up to date on resort policies, events, and programs to inform and assist guests
- Track and report on retail sales trends and stock levels
- Assist in daily cash handling, reconciliation, and shift reporting
- Help identify guest needs and suggest appropriate retail products or services
- Maintain cleanliness of the retail and guest experience areas
- Support promotions, sales, and events in coordination with Sales & Marketing
- Practice safe work procedures and maintain a professional and respectable appearance
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- No prior experience necessary, but retail or guest service background is an asset
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Comfortable using computer systems including POS, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to multitask, problem-solve, and communicate clearly
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be adaptable and willing to work across departments when needed
- Must be a team player who thrives in a busy, guest-focused environment
- Family-oriented resort, so ability to interact with families and guests of all ages is required
- Cross-department support and snow removal is required from all positions at SMR
