TAMBURINS fosters emotional communication beyond a simple experience by reinterpreting contents through the realms of objects, painting and performance in exhibition-style stores.
NUDAKE is an F&B brand recreating dessert culture with its ‘Make New Fantasy’ ethos. We transport consumers to a new fantasy by creating unprecedented cakes by combining fashion and art. By experimenting and producing contents that deviates from established processes and rules, NUDAKE touches consumers beyond the ordinary F&B experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Experience Management
The store team’s vision is to create Fans of Gentle Monster through memorable experiences. As a team member, ensure the vision is embraced and consistently deliver Gentle Monster’s high standard of friendly service. Assist customers with prescription eyewear selection, fittings, and adjustments. Identify customer journeys in the store and remove obstacles in the RX to ensure a smooth and effective process from the customer’s perspective.
2. Boost Sales
Actively engages with Gentle Monster customers to understand their needs and uses these insights to improve sales and conversion at RX sales. Consistently meets or exceeds individual and team goals, supporting overall store performance
3. RX Business
As a licensed optician, ensure the quality of prescriptions delivered from the lab or lens company for both online and offline orders. Oversee the end-to-end RX transaction process, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and fulfillment of orders in coordination with the RX department and the third company.
4. Operational support
Respects the store manager as the store’s leader, actively partners with the manager to coordinate daily workflows, uphold customer service standards, and support team performance management. Assists in maintaining the store in perfect condition, ensuring each customer visit is memorable through consistent cleaning, organization, and process management.
5. RX Coaching
With openness for learning to adapt skills in alignment with Gentle Monster standards with RX dept, Support team members through consistent feedback and hands-on training in optics. coordinate with the RX department and the store manager to Train staff to become proficient in prescription product knowledge to elevate customer experience.
Optical Skills
- Proficient in interpreting and explaining prescriptions to customers
- Knowledgeable in lens materials, coatings, and designs (single vision, progressive, bifocal, etc.)
- Ability to take accurate pupillary distance (PD), optical center, and segment height measurements
- Skilled in fitting, adjusting, and repairing a wide range of eyewear frames
- Comfortable use of tools and equipment for frame alignment and adjustment
- Experienced working with digital measurement systems and optical software
- Styling customers in frames that align with the needs of their prescriptions
Requirements:
- State Licensure – Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in store management and retail sales
- Experience in fashion retail preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a high-volume setting
- Results-oriented with a proactive work ethic and professional demeanor
- Team-focused mindset with a collaborative and flexible attitude
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. during regular store operations
