Job Summary
We are a medical mobility and home health supplies store seeking a highly organized Retail Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess strong math and computer skills. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for accurate record keeping and data entry as well as engaging with customers, providing product demonstrations, and assisting with online marketing. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Wage will be dependent on proven ability.
Responsibilities
- Submitting and keeping accurate records of client claims through multiple Government agencies
- Enter inventory data as it arrives
- Acquire product knowledge to showcase features and benefits
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service and/or health care would be beneficial
- Strong communication skills in English
- Strong math skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer skills, including social media
- Experience with POS systems is an advantage
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
