ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are in search of an engaging Restaurant Supervisor who is responsible for demonstrating and ensuring the highest level of courteous and efficient service to all customers, providing the best possible dining experience in keeping with the standards of Bow & Bend.

Primary accountabilities include:

  • Consistently providing the highest quality of service to our customers and staff alike, setting a shining example for our team.
  • Supervising front of house staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure efficient service.
  • Assisting with the training and mentoring team members in customer service best practices and food safety standards.
  • Managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize customer flow and satisfaction.
  • Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborating with culinary team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and waiting areas.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of special events or promotions to attract new customers.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with health and legal regulations.

ABOUT YOU

  • A seasoned professional with a minimum of one year experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity in a large, upscale Restaurant operation in a downtown city center.
  • Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Someone who has solid leadership skills, adept at training, coaching and motivating a team of culinary professionals.
  • An exceptional problem-solver, knowing how to troubleshoot, resolve situations efficiently, with the ability to shift priorities as needed, including handling customer or staff situations.
  • Able to work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator who values teamwork and collaboration.
  • Valid ProServe certification.
  • Someone with extensive knowledge in wine, beverages and bartending practices.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, crouch, and lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds or more.
