Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage staff effectively, and a thorough understanding of restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills and maintain a motivated team environment.
- Implement effective cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve operational goals.
- Foster a positive dining experience for guests through attentive service and prompt resolution of any issues.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Experience in managing shift operations, including staffing levels and workflow optimization.
- Ability to train staff in food handling practices, safety protocols, and service excellence.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in team management and development.
- Background in hospitality management or fine dining experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant setting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
