We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members while fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that reflect customer preferences and seasonal offerings.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare reports for upper management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Experience in bartending or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
