Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to manage a diverse team, and a commitment to creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to foster a positive work environment.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Micros POS, for cash handling and transaction management.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
• Monitor financial performance and manage budgets effectively to achieve operational goals.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including kitchen areas and dining spaces.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Micros POS preferred).
• Background in food preparation, cooking, serving, or barista experience is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $43,783.99-$86,131.13 per year
