If you have a vehicle with $2 mil liability insurance, you will be prioritized, as most clients require staff with transportation.
Candidates with Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training will be prioritized also.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respite care services to individuals aged 2-17 years.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and serve meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Plan engaging activities suited to clients' interests and abilities.
Required Skills:
- Prior experience required.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.
Requirements:
- Current First Aid certification.
- Police Check with Vulnerable Sector screening (within 6 months)
- Child and Family Services (CFS) intervention Check.(within 6 months)

Pay: $20.50-$24.00 per hour
