Resident & Member Services Coordinator
Location: Windsor, Ontario (Windsor-Essex Region)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Sept 2, 2025
About the Role
We’re looking for a Resident & Member Services Coordinator to join our team. This role blends co-op support and tenant services, with a strong focus on rent collection and resident communication alongside some day-to-day administrative support.
- At the co-op we manage (21 hours/week onsite): you’ll support the board and members, attend meetings, and keep records organized.
- In our Windsor office: you’ll focus on tenant services, especially rent collection, payment follow-up, and ensuring residents receive timely, professional communication.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing direct resident interaction with keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead rent collection efforts: follow up on payments, respond to tenant inquiries, and ensure accounts are up to date.
- Support the co-op board by attending one monthly board meeting (typically 5pm-7pm)
- Work one weekly 2–7pm shift at the co-op (starting at 11am either in our office or at the co-op).
- Enter payments and invoices, prepare cheques for signature, and keep records organized.
- Help coordinate maintenance requests, secure RFP's and follow up on outcomes.
- Manage high volumes of emails and calls with professionalism and empathy.
- Take part in our on-call rotation (about once every 8–10 weeks).
What You Bring
- Experience in a resident- or client-facing role (property management, housing, hospitality, etc.).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfort with basic administrative tasks (payments, invoices, cheque prep — no bookkeeping required).
- Tech-savvy and detail-oriented.
- Daily access to a reliable vehicle (required).
- Familiarity with Ontario landlord/tenant laws (an asset).
Why Join Us?
- Be part of Windsor-Essex’s largest and longest-operating property management firm.
- Work with a supportive team and an engaged co-op community.
