Function
The candidate will provide behavioural coaching and education to individuals who are dependent on nicotine and enrolled in a study focused on cessation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document follow‐up coaching calls with patients referred to program.
- Liaise with members of the program team (e.g., administrative assistant, research coordinator, research manager, medical director, pharmacists, principal investigators), as required.
- Documentation and reporting.
Basic requirements:
- Previous experience in patient education and behaviour change coaching.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workload.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and adherence to protocol requirements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bilingual; Fluent in both English and French (one candidate must be French speaking).
- Demonstrated, up-to-date knowledge of nicotine dependence literature.
- Demonstrated knowledge of behaviour change coaching techniques.
- Demonstrated clinical research experience.
Intensive training will be provided to the selected candidate to prepare for the position.
