Duties:
The Charette lab is seeking highly motivated research assistants to contribute to our collaborative work on determining the function of the ribosome assembly protein Emg1 in a yeast system. Duties to include equipment and material preparation, academic research, testing and related documentation of findings and assistance with the production of presentations and publications, and other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
Successful completion of prior coursework in biochemistry and molecular biology is required. Demonstrable practical experience with basic biochemistry and molecular biology lab skills is required, including: basic microbial growth and manipulation, and basic nucleic acid and protein manipulations.
