JOB SUMMARY
Tigh-Na-Mara Resort is seeking a Recreation Manager to oversee our recreation programs and pool house operations, delivering guest-focused experiences in collaboration with the Rooms Division. This flexible role is available as either full-time—with occasional support to the Front Office during the low season—or part-time, with hours ranging from 24 to 40 per week depending on the season. It's an excellent opportunity for experienced recreation coordinators or recent Recreation program graduates to grow into a leadership role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, lead, schedule, and support Recreation and Pool House teams
- Plan and execute creative, engaging programs for all age groups
- Ensure activities align with resort standards and guest expectations
- Oversee pool house operations, cleanliness, and maintenance coordination
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth event execution
- Mentor team members and support their professional growth
- Engage with guests, gather feedback, and resolve activity-related concerns
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and conduct regular facility checks
- Contribute to the strategic direction of recreation at the resort
QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience in a Recreation Leader or similar role.
· Post Secondary education in a recreation program or similar.
· Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
· Strong organizational and planning abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Able to engage with children of all ages and parents
· Ability to adapt to evolving guest preferences and industry trends.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
· RCMP background check will be required prior to starting the position
