Our Keskorie Boarding Home is cultural oriented with a friendly work environment that houses people from all over the Territory.
What you will do
Under the supervision and direction of the Front Desk Supervisor, the Weekend Receptionist is a key team member of the Keskorie Boarding Home who will be instrumental in providing a warm welcome ensuring seamless transitions for our guests. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of Indigenous clients by providing culturally sensitive support and assistance throughout their stay at Keskorie Boarding Home.
A Day in the Life
- Greet guest upon arrival at the facility, ensure a positive and welcoming experience.
- Answering telephones, referring calls or taking messages.
- Assigning patients and/or escorts rooms.
- Coordinate with Shuttle Drivers to facilitate clients’ daily pickups, drop offs and deliveries of patients’ prescriptions.
- Helping to arrange travel with relevant agencies.
- Performing light housekeeping duties.
- Front office duties such as data entry and filing.
- Other duties assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor.
What You Bring
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and some data entry experience an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for clients.
- Must have a valid First Aid/CPR Certificate or willing to take training immediately.
- WHMIS Certificate.
- Self-motivated and trustworthy.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow company processes, policies and procedures.
