Job Overview
We are looking for someone who can manage the role that involves coordinating pricing requests with shipping lines, ensuring accurate rate calculations, and maintaining the internal rate sheet. The individual will manage disputes, communicate updates to customers and the internal team, and stay informed on industry changes. Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue competitive quotes for air, ocean, and road freight shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, and agents to gather and negotiate rates.
- Maintain and update rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases.
- Support sales and operations teams by providing accurate pricing in a timely manner.
- Analyze rate trends and cost structures to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Assist in tender preparation, RFQ responses, and large customer bids.
- Monitor rate validity and ensure timely renewals or renegotiations.
- Ensure pricing complies with company policies and global trade regulations.
- Respond to internal and customer inquiries related to pricing and surcharges.
Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s degree .
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding and Shipping Lines, with a focus on Pricing and Rates Calculation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Shipping Terms and how to calculate shipping lines rates.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
