Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid background in quality management, QA/QC practices, and quality inspection techniques. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction through effective quality control measures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the quality control team to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze data collected from various stages of production to assess product quality and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure that all products are manufactured according to specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality assurance processes, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
- Train staff on quality control procedures, tools, and techniques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to perform precise measurements during inspections.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations while performing quality control duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment, focusing on quality control or assurance.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, QA/QC methodologies, and industry standards.
- Proficient in data collection techniques and analysis for effective decision-making regarding product quality.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and the ability to identify potential issues during production.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information to team members at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of analyzing complex data sets to drive improvements in product quality.
- Certification in Quality Management or related fields is a plus but not required.
