Competencies: Cyber Security, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
Experience (Years): 6-8
Essential Skills:
- Experience in Security Testing.
- Monitor application security trends and evolving technologies and keep senior management informed about related application security issues and implications for the Company
- Participate in the Security Incident Response Process
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Perform technical risk assessments and reviews of new and existing applications and systems
- Assist with emergencies and incident response after hours should the need arise
- Present written findings to teams, providing details of the vulnerabilities discovered recommended remediation steps
- Analyze, disassemble, and reverse engineer code to discern weaknesses for exploitation Document technical issues identified during security assessments and incidents and write reports
- Follow up on implementation of corrective actions from assessments and incidents
- Be creative in approaches to solving problems
- Execute penetration tests that maximize the learning opportunity and value of those tests without putting the business at risk
- Work with Development team to prioritize and execute remediation plans Experience in working on Agile methodology.
- Leverage QA Software tools for defect management, regression, functional testing based on industry best practices like Jira and Confluence.
