POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible to be the key contact for all suppliers in all aspects of purchasing, expediting, and delivery of equipment, services and materials. The Purchasing Coordinator is also a key division contact for all aspects related to inventory, warehousing and logistics.
Preference will be given to candidates LOCAL to Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead full cycle Source to Pay (S2P) for the Division
- Sourcing of rentals and materials
- Receiving orders for accuracy and quality
- Receiving tickets/packing slips in ERP system
- Inventory sign outs, tracking and monthly count
- Demand planning, forecasting project purchase requirements
- Managing the Division warehouse
- Preparing site warehouse for projects
- Reconcile warehouse on completed projects
- Small tool inventory tracking; sign in and sign out
- Small tool certifications
- Hot shot, running when required
- Ensuring priorities are handled effectively and efficiently
- Compliance with MasTec processes, policies and procedures as amended from time to time
- Information sharing with team members as required
- Ongoing team education on tools and process
- Effectively use systems and processes to measure, monitor, manage and impact performance
- Occasional travel to field locations and supplier facilities may be required
- Ability to travel to other MasTec sites to cover purchasing coworkers who are away from the office
- Other responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma education preferred
- 3+ years of purchasing with some warehousing experience
- Supply Chain Management (SCM) Certificate is an asset
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Internet and Scheduling Software
