Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals in need, including seniors and those with disabilities. Duties
- Provide compassionate care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with dementia care by employing effective communication techniques and patience.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, particularly in senior care or home care settings.
- Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative care team.
