We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage key retailer accounts, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will bring energy, adaptability, and a proven track record in sales, preferably in promotional products.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow major retailer accounts; achieve and exceed sales goals
- Prospect and contact potential customers, generating new business opportunities
- Build and deliver effective sales presentations using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and detailed product pitches
- Work closely with the Graphics, Operations, Warehouse, and Overseas teams to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
- Develop closing strategies with the company VP to secure key deals
- Maintain client communication, resolve issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Track inventory databases and forecast client needs
- Generate leads through calls, networking, trade shows, and industry outreach
- Represent the company at meetings, events, and presentations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in sales (promotional products industry preferred), with existing client relationships an asset
- Strong understanding of textiles and branded merchandise
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills- both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable with online tools
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Driven, results-oriented, and self-motivated
- Comfortable engaging with high-level decision-makers
- Valid driver’s license and passport
- Bilingual in French is an asset
