Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and execution of residential construction and renovation projects. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Coordination:
- Assist in developing project timelines, budgets, and work schedules.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries.
- Maintain project documentation, including permits, contracts, and drawings.
- Monitor project progress and update stakeholders on status and changes.
Client Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Provide regular updates on project milestones, schedules, and changes.
Resource Management:
- Track inventory and order materials as needed to prevent delays.
- Ensure proper allocation of resources to meet project deadlines.
Quality Control & Compliance:
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and safety standards.
- Assist in resolving issues related to quality, timelines, and scope changes.
Administrative Support:
- Prepare and maintain project reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
Qualifications & Skills:Education & Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in residential construction or renovation (preferred).
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in construction.
Work Environment:
- Combination of office and on-site work.
- Must be able to navigate construction sites and adapt to changing environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
