Purpose:
The Project Coordinator will report to the Operations Manager assisting in the efficient planning, completion and implementation of projects. He or she will help ensure that company resources effectively function to meet project contracted requirements. The person will help layout material and work schedules while monitoring the daily work on the project.
The Project Coordinator will also assist with troubleshooting, change orders and participating in the identification, selection and deployment of necessary resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Coordinate with drafting/design department to insure all drawings are complete
- Develop and implement processes/procedures essential to the project
- Responsible for Quality Control related to the project
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure;
- Production on schedule to complete for the agreed ship dates
- checklist prepared that all shipments are complete and accurate including sign off from key individuals
- Where applicable, cross boarder shipping documentation complete and accurate
- Project Administration
- Completing work orders for invoicing on a timely basis with proper documentation.
- Insure proper documentation is completed and maintained for each project including a final cost summary comparison to that initially budgeted
- Develop and maintain user guides and related technical documentation
- Ensure all replacement parts are shipped and supporting work orders completed in a timely manner.
- Other duties assigned as required
Skills and Aptitudes:
- Experience in coordinating and organizing
- Ability to read Drawings
- Ability to deal with co-workers and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability and willingness to travel (with a valid passport).
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and good driving record are required.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written English skills are necessary; French an asset.

- TMS Safety Policies (including WHMIS)
- TMS On-Call Policies
