Program Manager (Full Time) - Calgary
The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring contract compliance, managing staffing and program outcomes, and overseeing Client admissions and service delivery. Key duties include reporting on outcomes, developing service materials, collaborating with stakeholders, facilitating team meetings, addressing issues, and ensuring service goals are met. The role also involves conflict resolution, staff mentorship, hiring, training, standardizing onboarding, and generating reports to track performance metrics.
Program Manager - Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support the execution and operation of a new initiative to support unemployed and underemployed Albertans
- Meet with Senior Leadership as needed to discuss pertinent issues or concerns regarding program standards, current practice, program evaluation, and future development.
- Play a role in the following activities as directed by Senior Management
- Overseeing the decision-making process for admission and continued stay of participants
- Ensuring orientation for the participants that is appropriate to the services and the predicted outcomes
- Overseeing the progress evaluation of each participant to ensure achievement of outcomes
- Development of materials necessary to deliver services
- Have regular contact with contractors providing external training, work experience practicum providers, and potential participant employers.
- Oversee communication with the Team and is available as needed to discuss and/or assist with any issues raised.
Program Manager - Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of demonstrated experience in project management in Career and Employment Services
- Direct career and employment services experience
- Experience and demonstrated collaboration with government, community agencies, employers and other stakeholders.
- 3 years' experience evaluating and supporting staff.
- 3 years’ experience in service monitoring and reporting outcomes.
- Bilingual in French and English would be considered an asset
