Job Description:
- Own the roadmap for system improvements, from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Serve as the go-to authority for all things TMS—supporting users, troubleshooting issues, and guiding best practices.
- Partner with internal teams (logistics, IT, operations) and external vendors to deliver seamless transportation solutions.
- Monitor system functionality, proactively identify issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain high standards for data accuracy and consistency across the TMS to support reliable decision-making.
- Design and deliver dashboards, metrics, and performance reports that provide actionable insights.
- Contribute to broader supply chain and logistics initiatives, bringing a systems perspective to cross-functional efforts.
- Use data-driven analysis to identify root causes of system or process inefficiencies and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of system configurations, enhancements, and outcomes.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve transportation processes and leverage technology to drive efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of technical and business experience
- 3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
- 3+ years of experience as a systems or functional analyst, preferably with TMS platforms or TMS implementation
- Hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (Manhattan TMS is a strong asset)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Note:
- This position is open to candidates who can work out of any BC, Alberta or Saskatchewan Finning locations.
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Hybrid opportunity, with potential to work 2 days per week from home once trained.
