Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Team Member assembles cabinetry products, in whole or part, in level one positions within the cabinetry production assembly line. The Production Team Member is an integral member of the production team and contributes to the daily output of quality products. This position always performs work in a safe manner and with a high degree of attention to detail.
Essential Functions:
- Assemble cabinetry products on a production assembly line.
- Perform quality checks on cabinetry products and parts.
- Report product defects and damages to the Kitchen Lead.
- Read and review blueprints and purchase orders to ensure work is completed to specifications.
- Work through the required tasks in the cabinetry production process.
- Follow production schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assemble cabinets and hardware components prior to moving into case clamp.
- Operate Case Clamp machinery.
- Complete cabinetry production reports and communicate the details to the Production Manager.
- Compliance with Riverside policies, Health and Safety Program, and Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- General cleanup of production area.
- Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma is preferred.
- WHMIS and Health & Safety Awareness Training (HSAT)
Experience:
- Previous experience as a cabinet maker or cabinet assembler is preferred.
- Previous woodworking experience is an asset.
- Previous manufacturing / general production experience is an asset.
