Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily production activities, ensuring that production targets and schedules are met.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any operational issues.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, employee performance, and inventory levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- A degree in engineering, manufacturing management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
