Red Tower Armoury is a custom Cerakote application shop specializing in the firearms, automotive and manufacturing industry.
Red Tower Armoury Inc. is looking to full a position for a Production Assistant. Previous experience in the industrial / manufacturing industry is preferred but not required. Applicants must be physically fit and able, well organized, be able to work independently, hold flexible hours, and meet strict timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Work will consist of prepping parts for application, disassembly and reassembly of firearms, automotive and manufacturing components. Applying paint masks, stickers, plugs and other devices for paint process. Sand blasting or prepping components for paint application, And applying product.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Sandblasting to required specifications
- Organization/ Maintenance of equipment
- Load/ Unload parts
- General housekeeping of work area
- Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge on manufacturing processes
- Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and procedures
- Operate Sandblast, Paint and Prep equiptment
- Clean product and maintenance of shop equipment
- Skid/ Band/ Tag completed parts
- Organize and put away part deliveries
- Some general assembly and maintenance duties required
Work Conditions:
- Ability to lift and carry objects with assistance 50-75lbs
- The ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Manual dexterity required
- Frequently noisy working environment
- Overtime as required
- Able to remain standing for long periods of time
Qualifications:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in an ISO certified environment
- Must have experience working in a hands-on environment
- Experience with use of hand tools: hammer, punch, screwdriver, scissors, allen keys, pliers
- RPAL Licensing – is an asset
Shift: 3PM - 11PM
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
