Gardenland Co-op is hiring a full-time Produce Manager . The Produce Manager oversees the Winkler and Morden Food Store Produce Departments. Travel required to both communities.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Food Division Manager, the Produce Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the produce departments in the Morden and Winkler Food Stores. You will establish short-term strategies, goals, and objectives for the department in alignment with the food division strategic plan. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent and profitable operations with the goal of continually improving operations . You will lead the produce team and will provide day to day direction and guidance, including performance management, training, and development. You will ensure adherence to all regulations, company policies, health and safety, food safe procedures, and loss prevention policies and procedures.

Proficient on various digital platforms and software; including digital time management, Word, Excel, Google Drive, Email, Mocha, etc.
Are proficient and timely with administrative tasks.
Can stand for extended periods of time and/or extensive walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license.
Experience in retail management preferred.
