Produce Clerk (Part-time) - Downtown Toronto
We are looking for hardworking, driven, loyal employees who are passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
The Produce Clerk is looked to contribute towards sales and customer satisfaction by:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Educating customers on products and pairings
- Maintaining product displays
- Following Food, Health and Workplace Safety standards
What you’ll do:
Our Produce Clerks are responsible for:
- Management of inventory by stocking and replenishing shelves/displays
- Examining expiration dates
- Product rotation
- Setting up and maintaining product displays
- Unloading, un-boxing and Pricing products
What we are looking for:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Enjoys working in a team setting
- Ability to multi-task and maintain focus
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs (23Kg)
- Ability to handle standing, bending, reaching and kneeling frequently
- Prior Stock/grocery or produce experience
- Solution oriented individuals with ability to identify and solve problems
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a fast-paced store retail environment
- Must be have open work availability - Monday to Sunday (able to work at least 1 day on weekends)
