Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Produce Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our produce section is well-stocked, organized, and appealing to customers. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall quality of our fresh produce offerings.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting fresh produce and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce section to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Stock shelves with fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring proper rotation and quality control.
- Operate a forklift safely to move stock as needed (training may be provided).
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any issues or concerns.
- Support retail sales efforts by promoting seasonal items and specials.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills to keep the produce section well-maintained.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely (certification may be required).
- A commitment to cleanliness and maintaining high standards of quality in all products.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
