We are looking for a skilled Procurement and Logistics Planner to manage inventory levels, coordinate purchasing activities, and optimize the procurement process to support our production activities. The role will work closely with suppliers, production teams, and warehouse staff to maintain optimal stock levels, quality standards, manage costs, and satisfy production schedules and demand forecasts.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock is maintained at all times.
- Align procurement strategies with productions schedules, demand forecasting and business objectives
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, high quality and favourable terms
- Regularly analyse movement of materials, projected consumption and minimum order quantities to accurately plan procurement cycles
- Ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing while maintaining quality standards and supplier relationships.
- Monitor market trends to identify changes in supply availability and pricing that could affect purchasing decisions.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and analyses to prevent overstock, minimize waste and discrepancies.
- Actively engage with freight forwarders and effectively coordinate offshore logistics to ensure on-time material delivery
- Work closely with warehouse staff to oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials
- Generate reports on inventory turnover, purchasing performance, and cost analysis for management review.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with freight forwarders and managing offshore logistics.
- Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing, material planning or supply chain within manufacturing – ideally in the food or consumer-packaged goods industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess inventory data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary: $65,000 - $ 70,000 per year.
